In India and the rest of the world, today, Aditya Thackeray is a well-known name for one reason or another. He studied in Mumbai at the Bombay Scottish School and, after passing out, went to pursue a BA History degree from the St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. Finally, he went to another law college in Mumbai, the KC Law College, and earned his LLB degree.
While his education endeavors have had a usual routine, his life is full of twists and turns, where he became triumph in many of his challenges. He was born in an influential family with a following that many can save resembles a religion. Grandson of Bal Thackery and son of Uddhave Thackery, he was in a family with strong political views and religious beliefs. However, the family required a robust political footing, and it is where Aditya Thackeray made his mark. He not only contested the MLA seat in 2019 for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election but also won by the support of his followers. The political victory made him the first person in the Thackeray family who participated in the election and also emerged victorious.
As an elected leader in the Shiv Sena government became the cabinet minister holding the offices of environment, protocol, and tourism. Although lacking the political strength to have the highest number of seats in the Assembly, Aditya Thackeray is a dynamic figure. He has been building his political momentum and giving tough time to rival parties in many constituencies. Notably, the BJP party that holds the most seats in Assembly. The BJP happens to be an ally but also has been in disputes over many issues.
Aditya Thackeray has a pearl of political wisdom to interact with ordinary people and work on things that can bring betterment in the life of others. It is his vision and work that led him to win the elections, and he continues to focus on the same drives. While many other parties show little interest in causes other than political gimmicks, Thackeray looks for issues that are real and can have a lasting impact on the lives of others. One of his stands was against a metro project. The metro plan was threatening the deforestation of the Aarey forest, and Aditya was the first to step in to speak against this project. His voice of concern for the woods was much appreciated at all fronts in India.
