The market is highly competitive, and the last thing an organization wants is to have a commission-only sales reps that lacks the confidence and skills to make sales and rather disappear after a few months of not making any commissions.

However, for talented and highly-motivated sales professionals, it is a lucrative opportunity to show their expertise, and bring considerable sales to a company.
