Easy-Peasy Easter Sequin Appliques

Easter is a holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The term Easter, which is related to the Germanic goddess Eostre and ultimately derives from a Proto-Indo European root meaning “to shine” typically refers to the Christian holiday of Easter Sunday.

In fact, it dates back about 2000 years ago when Christians celebrate this day as their annual feast commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at Jerusalem that spring season. There are many traditions associated with Easters such as the easter egg hunt or Easter bunny but one should not forget about easters’ most important symbol — an easter sequin applique!

That little cute piece made in bright pastel colors can turn any regular easter outfit into a stylish one. Some people are even choosing to wear these pretty pieces all year long not just for Easters!

Oftentimes, you can find easter appliques in the form of bunny ears or small eggs but there is no limit on your imagination so feel free to be creative with it and have fun!

Many easter decorations are created with the use of easter eggs, but what about easter sequin appliques? These easy-to-make Easter decorations can be used to spruce up your home for Easter. They’re made by cutting out shapes like flowers and bunnies from felt or fabric, leaving space at the top for you to thread on some colorful beads. Today we’ll learn how to make one below!

First, cut out two bunny shapes from felt. Make sure that they are mirror images of each other so that when you put them together the easter egg is complete. Next, attach some colorful beads to the top of one piece using a needle and thread (this part might take some patience).

Then simply sew on the beads onto your second easter sequin applique! Once both pieces have been threaded with your colored bead, use some more thread to attach them at their sides like in our picture above. You could also double up on this decoration by sewing it onto something else like an easter basket or stuffed animal for added effect!

You’re done! Now you can use these easters eggs wherever you like, or make them into brooches for Easter egg hunts! You could also attach some ribbon and turn the easter sequin applique into a hair clip by sewing on your favorite pin back instead of attaching it directly to clothing (just be careful not to prick yourself!
